About Jewelry

Is the jewelry 100% solid gold or gold-plated?

Trevila offers 18k gold plated jewelry. Our products are made from the finest 925 sterling silver and then plated 5 times using a unique process to ensure long-lasting wear without fading. You don't have to spend $10,000.00 to get the exact same look and feel of a 500 karat solid gold chain and pendant.

Are the stones real diamonds?

Our main gemstone type is Moissanite, which is a great alternative to natural gemstones as it is more scratch resistant and suitable for everyday wear. Unlike natural gemstones that are mined from the ground using large machinery, explosives and unsafe working conditions, lab-grown sapphires are more durable and have better optical properties than diamonds, while maintaining ethical standards that protect the environment.

Will this jewelry make my skin green?

No, our jewelry will never turn your skin green. Our products have 5 layers of gold plating on the surface, which will last for years. The quality has been verified by the international organization SGS.

Can I take a shower with this without fading? does It change color?

Every piece of jewelry deserves careful care, which requires us to avoid wearing jewelry under some harsh conditions. For example, bathing/swimming/exercise. Therefore, we do not recommend wearing jewelry frequently when bathing.

How should I store/protect my jewelry?

Jewelry should be kept dry. If your jewelry is not used frequently, keep it stored in the provided dust bag. Good storage boxes are lined with tarnish-proof fabric and have a separate space for each individual piece. If your climate is humid, place a small packet of desiccant crystals inside your storage area. Avoid storing the jewelry with rubber products. Always remove your jewelry when applying colognes, perfumes or other chemical products.

For the plated jewelry, I worry the color will fade off naturally.

We have a rigorous quality control process to ensure the quality of all of our jewelry. The plating will not fade off if you take care of your jewelry.
